Welcome to my nerdy little corner of the blogosphere!
My name is Jennifer Griffith, and I am a geeky writer with an Electrical Engineering degree. I’m currently acting as an Associate Editor over at The G.A.M.E.S. Blog. For the first half of 2012, I was an intern at io9 (awesome science/sci-fi/fantasy/comics/geek site), and I freelanced for Tecca before it sadly closed its doors in October 2012.
Some of my biggest obsessions include video games, anime, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Harry Potter, anime, and cosplay. I also love cats (Mine is named Annika…10 points to your Hogwarts house if you get the reference without clicking the link!) and the ridiculous things they do. When I’m not busy writing or editing, I craft, tinker with electronics, and dabble in vector graphic design. Oh, and I like to get out of the house sometimes, too. Conventions count, right?
My articles tend to revolve around my interests, so if you made it here, hopefully you’ll feel right at home amongst the nerdiness. I sometimes have contests with prizes from my Etsy store, so if you like free stuff, check out the Contests page.
Speaking of my Etsy store, it’s closed indefinitely right now until I have time to really work with it. When it’s live again, you can enter the coupon code “ONEGIRLGEEK” to get free shipping! It’s one way I’d like to say thanks for reading.
If you’re looking for some new stuff to read, check out the links under “Sites I follow.” Those are all websites that I enjoy reading on a regular basis, and if you like my blog, you might like them, too. Also, I’m always looking for new blogs/general interesting stuff to look at, so if you do leave comments, make sure to include your website if you have one. I’ll definitely take a look.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, nifty things to share, things you’d like me to write about, collaboration requests, etc. You can leave a comment below or e-mail me at onegirlgeekblog@gmail.com.

Hi Hubert! Thanks for stopping by; glad you enjoyed the geekery. I’ve never heard of it til now, to be honest. I do like discovering new outlets, though, so I’ll have to take a look.
