About

My name is Jennifer, and I like to write and edit things. I also enjoy making stuff (What can I say? I was an EE.) and going to conventions.

Me, as the 10th Doctor, holding my handmade Adipose and sonic screwdriver. MegaCon 2012.

My posts here tend to revolve around sci-fi, anime, games, crafts, tech, DIY, and other geekery. I’m also currently an associate editor over at The G.A.M.E.S. Blog, where I cover news, features, and reviews. I once had the pleasure of interning at io9, and I freelanced a bit for Tecca before it sadly closed its doors.

If you’re looking for some new things to read, check out the links under “Sites I follow.” Those are all websites that I’ve enjoyed, and if you like my blog, you might like them, too.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, nifty stuff to share, ideas you’d like me to write about, collaboration requests, etc. You can leave a comment below or e-mail me at onegirlgeekblog@gmail.com.

  1. Hello! I just wanted to say that your blog is pretty cool and I wanted to share my etsy store too! My crafts center around anime and gaming, so I figured that your readers would like them. Thanks for your time and I hope you have a wonderful day!

  2. Hello there,

I have really enjoyed reading through your blog. You have some really nice and geeky stuff here – I really like it. I think I could help to get you some new followers if you are interested?

I am looking for passionate writers to join our community of bloggers and I was wondering whether you would consider sharing your posts on Glipho and become a member?

It might be a good idea to give your writing and your blog more exposure while having fun and meeting fellow writers.

Please check us out at http://glipho.com and drop me a line at hubert@glipho.com for any questions.

    Best!
    Hubert

    • Hi Hubert! Thanks for stopping by; glad you enjoyed the geekery. I’ve never heard of it til now, to be honest. I do like discovering new outlets, though, so I’ll have to take a look. :)
